Qualified students can accelerate their careers by beginning graduate level courses in the fourth year of undergraduate study.
Students accepted into a 4+1 program will begin graduate level work in approved courses for the 4+1 transition phase. Up to twelve semester hours of approved course work can be counted. Upon completion of the same number of credit hours required of the baccalaureate degree, students continue their graduate course work full-time over the next three semesters, including one summer, in order to finish their undergraduate and graduate degrees in five years.
Third year students (90 undergraduate credits earned at CSU) can apply to the Office of Graduate Admissions in the College of Graduate Studies. Students must meet their individual program's graduate admission requirements.
